*This article concerns the Newsvine 3.0 Beta, and won't make a whole lot of sense to you unless you're a Beta tester. Just FYI.
Right now, it seems most discussions are happening in the Beta Nation. Beta users seem to be using the Beta Nation as a "public thread" of sorts. That's going to make it very hard for staff to discern just where there are comments regarding the Beta that they need to see.
I think it makes sense for us to get into the good habit of posting our articles/seeds to the Nations appropriate for their subject matter. If we want to discuss something Beta-related beneath that article/seed, someone can start a Beta Nation discussion. But the main discussion should happen in the discussion thread of the Nation to which it belongs.
If we can think about it in terms of organizing the discussion into categories (by Nation), it will be easier.
UPDATE: It seems I've ruffled some feathers with the suggestion that we restrict discussions in Newsvine Beta to beta-related matters. Just for reference, I saw this comment by Luke Dorny and came to the conclusion that it would be easiest on devs if we did what I suggest above:

Thanks for helping out!
Can you keep Beta Group discussions about the Beta Test?
EDIT: Commenting is closed. Thank you.
