Conservative columnist Scott Paulson believes that the media has been asleep at the wheel when it comes to the violent "flash mobs" that have been happening sporadically throughout the city for the last two years. Paulson goes on to say that "flash mob" is the wrong term for what is happening, suggesting instead that "race riot" is more appropriate.
I know the writer of this article. What he doesn't mention here is that Paulson responded to a tweet of Wyl's about his article by telling him to "shut the eff up" and "get a job." (Wyl is gainfully employed and a student.)
Is this a scared old white man? Or is his commentary tying race to the "flash mobs" that have afflicted Chicago and other cities appropriate? "Race riots?" Really?
